Is a good partner supportive for successful work life also, or is a relationship too time consuming? Part 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

People who have a supportive partner would never want to be without their beloved companion. People who don\u2019t have a partner may think that a relationship is too time consuming and that good partners are rare.<\/p>\n

I personally believe and experience that a supportive, loving partner is one of the best things that can happen to you. Support and love have a positive effect on your work life as well, and here are some fun and practical steps to bring a wonderful partner into your life \ud83d\ude42\ud83e\udd70<\/p>\n

How to find a loving partner \u2014 how do you actually do it? Part1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Endless \u201cactive waiting\u201d will definitely not help! \ud83d\ude04
\nActive waiting is more like procrastination and marinating in your limiting beliefs.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t have a partner, then I recommend you start actively going on dates! \ud83d\ude0e
\nI hope your reaction is not: Oh my God! Why? What for? Where do I find the time? I\u2019m such a busy person! Dating requires so much effort! I can manage on my own \u2014 people can live alone these days! I have friends! All men are the same! All women are so complicated! What if he\u2019s a bad cook? What if he throws his socks everywhere? Where am I supposed to find a partner? All the good ones are already taken (yes, that\u2019s what you think because you see acquaintances who have partners and get along wonderfully). Should I go look on the street or what? And so on and so on \ud83d\ude33<\/p>\n

Why? What for? Why?<\/p>\n

Because life with a wonderful partner is amazing \ud83d\udc69\u200d\u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83d\udc68 Shared joy is double joy \ud83e\udd70\ud83d\udc69\u200d\u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83d\udc68\ud83e\udd70<\/p>\n

My husband says that in the short term, life alone is very comfortable, but in the long run, being alone is very sad. I agree with him 100%.<\/p>\n

If you think that all good partners are taken, or that everyone has something wrong with them, or who would want me at 50+ with cellulite, then you have limiting beliefs! And those beliefs are preventing you from finding a wonderful partner.<\/p>\n

Dating apps are a good place to look for a partner because some people there are genuinely looking for a good companion.
\n(Did it get scary again when I mentioned dating apps? \ud83d\ude02)<\/p>\n

Yes, there are also plenty of love scammers, manipulators, and people in complicated relationships who want a third person involved \u2014 because why else would they be on the app?<\/p>\n

.<\/p>\n

But there are also truly lovely people who have healed from past wounds or who have lost their partner and don\u2019t want to remain alone. And those are the people worth getting to know \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

.<\/p>\n

And yes, you need a cool head to end rude conversations quickly or not respond at all, but you don\u2019t need to focus on those. Besides, a stranger\u2019s provocation is a great opportunity to grow your confidence. I tell my hypnotherapy clients directly: yes, go on a dating app, sift through the junk, and find yourself a wonderful partner.<\/p>\n

My own friend has said, \u201cUgh, I don\u2019t feel like starting dating again, it takes effort.\u201d But what\u2019s so scary about it? You shouldn\u2019t go on blind dates, of course, and before meeting face\u2011to\u2011face you can check someone\u2019s background online, make a video call, and then decide whether you want to continue talking. If you do go on a date, it means a nice dinner or maybe a bowling night. And even then, you can always thank them for the time and say NO if you don\u2019t want a second date. A bit of grooming before going on a date is appropriate and human \u2014 we all want to make a good impression, but it doesn\u2019t have to be exhausting. One should not pretend to be a different person on a date and in everyday life. And from time to time, it\u2019s fun to dress up a little \ud83d\ude0e<\/p>\n

And here\u2019s a small tip, especially for women, before going on a date: please don\u2019t go on a date thinking, \u201cI wonder if he\u2019ll like me.\u201d Better go thinking: \u201cI\u2019m going to see if I<\/em> like him<\/em>, if he treats me well.\u201d Go to see whether you<\/em> like him, not whether he<\/em> likes you.<\/p>\n

\n\u262f\ufe0f Don\u2019t write in your bio what you dislike or can\u2019t tolerate. Instead, write a little about what you enjoy or what you focus on in life \u2014 be human!
\n\u262f\ufe0f If you get a question, answer it. And it\u2019s polite to ask a question back \u2014 that way you learn more about the person and they feel that you\u2019re interested too.
